The Joys of a Military Life

"U.S. troops could be required to report to work without pay if a budget clash in Congress results in a government-wide shutdown, according to draft planning guidance circulating in the Pentagon."

Click here for the rest of the article.

Please pass it on to all the military families you know. Active Duty/Retired both could go without pay for as long as 2 months starting in April!

If anyone knows any great money saving tips, please post & share. I know so many frugal mommas, like myself, who need the extra help if this is passed. I don't know where else to cut corners is DH doesn't get his paycheck.

I know! We're pinching pennies everywhere we can already. I'm really hoping they don't pass this...I have no idea how we'd buy groceries/pay the bills if DH looses his check. =/
